Hello World, my blog is live!
I finally decided to start my blog.
I want to share with you what I love, my passions, and what I have learned. I hope that someone will benefit from what I share. My blog is dedicated to all of you that care about personal improvement, communication, management & leadership.
We don’t know each other yet, so let me tell you a little bit about me.
I am Italian, born in Rome, and I have been living in Paris since 1995.
Throughout life, I’ve had the chance to meet great people worldwide, people with passion, and eager to share their knowledge. I was always looking to learn something ‘new,’ making me a better person and a better employee. Reading about motivation, leadership, organization, cultural differences, and other skill-oriented books have become part of my life.
I’ve had the chance to work for extremely passionate companies like NVIDIA and 3DFX, who manufacture graphic cards for gamers. Technology is an integral part of my life. I’ve spent almost 30 years building computers, installing hardware, setting up software, and playing games! I’ve had the chance to play with lots of cool devices, starting with my first PC – An 8086 Intel processor with an MDA display and no hard drive, of course!
Technology opened the doors for the second important thing in my life: Communication. I always loved talking to people, so no wonder I ended up in Public Relations and Marketing! Thought leadership, branding, and launching products have been my job for the last 20 years. Do the Voodoo and GeForce brands ring a bell?
But there is one more thing I love, and that’s music. Especially a genre that I grew up with – Disco!
Stop picturing me dressed like John Travolta, instead try to remember the magic sound of the late ’70s (I was just a kid). The sound of ‘I want your Love’ or ‘Le freak’ by CHIC, ‘Get Down on it’ by Kool and the Gang, and Donna Summer’s incredible voice. I admit, 30 years later, I still listen to these great tunes daily, and occasionally I play them on my Fender Stratocaster.Enough about me for now; this is my blog.
I hope you’ll like what I have to say.
Let’s start this journey!
